The Danggali project is situated within the Murray Basin, about 45km north of Renmark. The project was targeted as it falls within a localised thermal anomaly (Figure 16 inset) and is close to transmission infrastructure (40km) and Broken Hill in NSW.

Little is known about the geological characteristics and geothermal potential of this project as there has been limited previous work in the region. Over the coming year New World Energy will assess the available data and determine the work required to understand the geothermal potential and make a decision on whether to continue with the project.
