New World Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Aquifer Resources Pty Ltd owns a mineral Exploration Licence application in the Binningup area. This Exploration Licence (E70/3310) was applied for prior to the passing of the geothermal legislation in Western Australia in order to give New World Energy access to the Binningup area and to assist its geothermal applications in the area by having prior presence in the area. New Word Energy is currently assessing whether it should continue with this Licence Application as it occurs in a region which is mined for mineral sands.
